# Add Word Cloud to InfoVis

Folks,

As I reported earlier, I add a [Word Cloud example](https://lorensen.github.io/VTKExamples/site/Cxx/InfoVis/WordCloud/) to the [VTKExamples Project.](https://lorensen.github.io/VTKExamples/site/Cxx/InfoVis/WordCloud/).

Now, I plan to add a vtkWordCloud class InfoVis/Core. I think it will be a useful addition for presentations.

For example, I wrote a memoir about my childhood dogs, called [A Boy And His Dogs](http://marchingcubes.org/index.php/A_Boy_and_His_Dogs)

There are lots of options to fine-tune the presentation including:

- Color selection: Random, Named Color, Named Color Scheme
- Orientations: Enumerated or Random Distribution
- Mask Files
- Built-in StopList of words to ignore
- User stop words
- Replacement words

Bill, you can’t just say ‘Mom won him on a local TV show called “The Sheriff of Cactus County.”’ and leave it at that. There’s surely a good story here.
