# Build VTK with Vcpkg on the machine

I failed to build VTK 8.2.0 on Windows 10 with VS 2017 and VS 2019, but after removing the integration between vcpkg and Visual Studio by ` vcpkg integrate remove`, the build is successful.

This sounds like a vcpkg problem to me without more information. Isn’t VTK already in vcpkg already?
