# Building in Visual Studio 2019

I reciieved many errors when attempting to open the Solution in Visual Studio 2019, after generating the files in CMAke. I have the many error messages in a text file.

VTK should build fine with VS2019.

Without seeing the error messages we don’t know what could be wrong with your configuration. Please upload the build logs somewhere and post the link here.
