# Compilation error for StreamlinesWithlineWidget

when building StreamlinesWithlineWidget sample code with VisualStudio 2017 (Windows10, x64), I get lots of C2440 compilation errors.  
Ex: cannot convert from vtkNew to vtkPolyData\* :  
vtkNew seeds;  
GenerateStreamlines-\>polyData = seeds;

If you are referring to [StreamlinesWithLineWidget](https://kitware.github.io/vtk-examples/site/Cxx/VisualizationAlgorithms/StreamlinesWithLineWidget) it should build ok.

Try downloading the tarball and building it.
