 ![threeplanes](https://discourse.vtk.org/uploads/default/original/1X/bc2b1a4b034fb3c56e48afc38f673eb9be7e61a9.jpeg)
I find example - Medical/MedicalDemo3/ - but it in 3d style. Another example to difficult for me [https://vtk.org/gitweb?p=VTK.git;a=blob;f=Examples/GUI/Qt/FourPaneViewer/QtVTKRenderWindows.cxx](https://vtk.org/gitweb?p=VTK.git;a=blob;f=Examples/GUI/Qt/FourPaneViewer/QtVTKRenderWindows.cxx)
i intersting how to create 2 planes (sagital, coronal) with crosshair on front slices (images).
[https://vtk.org/doc/nightly/html/classvtkResliceCursor.html](https://vtk.org/doc/nightly/html/classvtkResliceCursor.html) - this is right choice four this purposes?

VTK examples are primarily for education purposes. If you need a functional medical image viewer then the most efficient way to get there is to customize/extend an existing open-source viewer, such as [3D Slicer](https://www.slicer.org) or [MITK](http://www.mitk.org).
