# How can I extract a polygon with the same shape as a 3d glyph?

I tried running the vtp example via the following link.

However, paraview of the output of .vtp shows 3d glyphs. But points and the surface seem to be completely different.

How can I extract a polygon with the same shape as a 3d glyph?
