vtkBooleanOprationPolydataFilter does not work reliably. You may give a try to this other VTK Boolean operation filter: [Adding Roemer's Boolean Filter as a Remote Module](https://discourse.vtk.org/t/adding-roemers-boolean-filter-as-a-remote-module/1635)
