What you are looking for is the `vtkLegendScaleActor` class. You can find example ([https://examples.vtk.org/site/Cxx/Visualization/LegendScaleActor/](https://examples.vtk.org/site/Cxx/Visualization/LegendScaleActor/)) and tests.
