# Panoramic View: Making Panoramic View and Getting Slices from the Panoramic View

We have completed a first version of the “probe mapper” described above. More information in [this post](https://www.kitware.com/activiz-9-4-curved-planar-reformation/).

We still need to write tests before opening a MR in VTK, but the code is already available in my VTK fork ([probe-volume-mapper](https://gitlab.kitware.com/LucasGandelKitware/vtk/-/tree/probe-volume-mapper?ref_type=heads)).
