# Slice Domain Definition?

Hoping to clarify some definitions…

A slice is a subset of a larger dataset (e.g. a slice of a 3D image is a 2D image).

A slice domain is the set of all possible slices that could be extract from a larger dataset.

Are these correct? If not, how could they be better defined?
