# VTK 8.2.0 + Qt Quick + MSVC 2017 issue

Hi everyone,

A couple months ago I reported this bug in Gitlab ( [[https://gitlab.kitware.com/vtk/vtk/issues/17579](https://gitlab.kitware.com/vtk/vtk/issues/17579)] ) but I haven’t received any answer yet, so if someone of you can pinpoint why might this be happening I would appreciate any help. I need to use 8.2 due to the multi-volume feature and I need to render it in a qml window. I’m willing to try tracking the bug but I debugged the VTK code using GLIntercept and apitrace but they didn’t help.

Hey Guys, I know it a old question, but is there any update on this ?  
I have also commented on gitlab issue. just updating here. I have similar issue here is sample code that works on Vtk 7.1.1 but not on 8.2.0 or 9
