# VTK 9.2.5 is out

VTK 9.2.5 is out. This release comes with three critical fixes, one for shipping webapp in VTK, one regarding window resizing and a fix for a CVE in VTK.

More information about the CVE fix:

A [CVE](https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2021-42521) has been reported in VTK in 2022, which has been quickly [fixed](https://gitlab.kitware.com/vtk/vtk/-/merge_requests/9586/) and [backported](https://gitlab.kitware.com/vtk/vtk/-/merge_requests/9822) into our release branch.

The fix has been released in VTK 9.2.5 in commit [f14698e98877b371b0859df164a232f36bd7c3de](https://gitlab.kitware.com/vtk/vtk/-/commit/f14698e98877b371b0859df164a232f36bd7c3de).
