Thanks for posting this. It’s very helpful as a status reference for VTKHDF. But when I hear “roadmap”, I usually expect forward-looking info on what’s planned and roughly when, so this feels more like a current support matrix than a roadmap. Any chance you could share upcoming priorities or timelines as well?
Simple, everything that is shown as “not implemented” or “partial” will be implemented in the future :).
However, there is no timeline at the moment for these items.

Thanks for clarifying. Yes, we are considering funding a feature within unstructured meshes for VTKHDF, though we’re still haggling over priorities.
I understand that everything marked “not implemented” or “partial” is planned eventually, but that alone isn’t really what I think of as a roadmap. A roadmap usually also shows relative priorities and timing, even if approximate. I realize you don’t have timelines right now, but knowing which items are likely to be tackled first would still help users plan.
If there’s no current funding for the incomplete items, perhaps this page should be titled “VTKHDF current status” to better reflect its purpose.
