# vtkQuadricDecimation error in vtk9.0

vtk new version QuadricDecimation maybe have a numerical problem? when processing large polygon files will print unable refactor linear system lasting 10 mins. To follow up, here is the status of `VTK::FiltersCorePython-QuadricDecimation2`

- VS 2019 ✅

- VS 2022 ❌ (as part of [MR-9204](https://gitlab.kitware.com/vtk/vtk/-/merge_requests/9204) titled `Ci uplifts`)
