From this: [RenderWindowInteractor | vtk.js](https://kitware.github.io/vtk-js/api/Rendering_Core_RenderWindowInteractor.html#onLeftButtonPress)

Is there a way to detect when the left mouse button has been clicked (`onLeftButtonPress`) and the `shift` (or other control button) is being held?

Yes we have [that example](https://kitware.github.io/vtk-js/examples/InteractorStyleManipulator.html) which do those kind of redirection for you via an interactor style.
