# where are the model files of vtk examples

Some vtk example need model files, e.g., [StreamLines](https://lorensen.github.io/VTKExamples/site/Cxx/VisualizationAlgorithms/LOx/) , it needs “xyzFile” and “qFile” , where are these files ? Can i download from any place?
anybody know this ?

I don’t know where the official source of VTK-data is (servers listed at [https://vtk.org/Wiki/VTK\_Datasets](https://vtk.org/Wiki/VTK_Datasets) are not responsive), but there are a number of forks out there, such as: [https://github.com/pyvista/vtk-data/tree/master/Data](https://github.com/pyvista/vtk-data/tree/master/Data) (see postxyz.bin, postq.bin).

Thank you , The second link ([vtk-data](https://github.com/pyvista/vtk-data/tree/master/Data)) is valid, This is exactly what i need.
