# windows MinGW compiler question with Qt and VTK

# About the problem of minGW compiler on **windows** (Qt & VTK)

> edtion:

> - qt:6.2.3
> - vtk:9.1.0

### 1.

in the begin choose the button **BUILD\_SHARED\_LIBS** ,when i start compiling, which will generate a lot of ~~inline function~~ errors, and erro for a while because of compiling the dll file, but if I cancel the generation of the dynamic library, the compilation process is fine.

### 2.

i have the same question with [this post](https://gitlab.kitware.com/vtk/vtk/-/issues/18219),but i still can’t solver this question.

### update

I’m using **msvc** for development now.

 but I’m still hoping there’s a solution so that help for cross-platform development.
