I am currently developing and maintaining visualization solutions for a stratigraphy simulator using VTK.
I have previously developed computational tools to visualize geologic objects in three dimensions (faults, horizons, well trajectories and volumes) using VTK.
I have also developed tools for simulating the mechanical behavior of faults and fractures under time-dependent reservoir pressures. This development involved the study of all the main issues regarding the construction of a geomechanical model for faults and fractures in a reservoir, using well and sesmic data: pore pressure, overburden, minimum and maximum horizontal stresses and rock properties.
I have used the C and C++ languages, the Visualization ToolKit, as well as Qt for GUI development.
I have taught courses as a coprofessor in Reservoir Geomechanics and Analysis of Fault Stability using geomechanical criteria.
