The merge request has been revised and merged. It now supports both DG hexahedra and tetrahedra.

There will continue to be development of this new data-object type; in particular we will be adding support for H-curl and H-div function spaces and higher-order interpolation as well as utilities to convert back and forth to vtkUnstructuredGrid (with loss of information as field values at shared cell corners are averaged).
