How can I save a 3D scene as an mrc file

Hello.
I am creating a window using vtk that allows moving the density map of a membrane protein and establishing it on an axis, I want to know how I can save the protein once the user has placed it in the correct place.

I only see an .mrc reader, not a writer, in VTK today.
