The VTK team at Kitware will be hosting a free webinar on Thursday, September 3 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm ET covering the latest developments in VTK-wasm and how it can be used to bring high-performance VTK rendering directly into the browser.
The team from Kitware will walk through the current VTK-wasm architecture and demonstrate several ways it can be used, including:
- Building standalone browser-based 3D visualization applications with JavaScript
- Moving rendering from the server to the client in existing trame applications using vtklocal.LocalView
- The path toward bringing existing VTK C++ applications to the browser
- Browser-based volume rendering and other live VTK-wasm demonstrations
The webinar will also cover where VTK-wasm is headed, and will leave time at the end for live Q&A.
If you’re currently using VTK or trame for web-based visualization, or are interested in moving more of your visualization workflows into the browser, we’d love to have you join us.
