Different colours for cell faces

This may be a long shot and not possible…

Is there an easy way to colour each face of 3D cells individually? Like attaching a dataset to an unstructured grid which contains a value per face of each cell?

ExtractSurface will create cells for each faces of a 3D cells, so in a way, you can.

Other than that, this is not possible.
