Hi, I am trying to extract the attributes associated with the point and cell data from a vtp file that contains tractography streamlines, together with some associated scalar and tensor data. So far I have been able to extract the names of the attributes with the code I am attaching (I’m using Python). I would like to: Get the attribute type associated with each one. I am having some VTK/P files that contains some tractography streamline data. I ignore whether the tool that produced this followed an LPS or RAS convention. Is there a tag or specific property that I could look for in the file to know this information?

I’ve seen that this information can be written as comments in PLY files, e.g.

so if there is no specific tag, I’m wondering how a VTK/P file could be queried to retrieve any comment or description tag.
