How to remove a border around a region in a microscopy image

Hi everyone,

I am loading a microscopy image using OpenSlide and trying to visualize it using VTK. Unfortunately, I get a region border visualized around the individual regions in the image:

The data is the following: https://openslide.cs.cmu.edu/download/openslide-testdata/Mirax/CMU-3.zip.

If I load the data in QuPath, I do not see such borders.

Any idea what could be the problem?
