I would like to efficiently move points on massive polydata arrays (>50 million vertices/15 million cells). I can pick out the exact vertices and move them, which updates the cells in the polydata by index. Whilst the polydata picker is generally responsive enough, the live update to display is not. If I drag a vertex around, the polydata changes, which causes a reconstruction of the gpu buffer. This makes sense but if I am modifying a single vertex out out of a millions, I would prefer to update only the affected vertices. From what I can gather from the implementation this was not the original intention, however i could be missing something. Is there is a known best practice for such operations, or is this rather custom and perhaps beyond the scope of the implementation??
Thanks for your support thusfar. Max
