Hi,
I downloaded the RC1 archives from
https://vtk.org/download/
and both the tar.gz and the zip seem broken:
[~/Downloads]$ tar xzf VTK-9.0.0.rc1.tar.gz
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive

Also, there is no tag for this RC1 in the git repo. @ben.boeckel @TJ_Corona @Dave_DeMarle

The new (working) tarballs should be up now. I need to make the .zip files yet.
