I have been playing around with vtkMultiVolume, and I have not been able to apply clipping planes successfully to the actor. Am I missing something or have clipping planes not been implemented for this feature yet?
We could not make clipping work for multi-volume either. As far as I remember, it has not been implemented yet. @sankhesh can confirm.
have you tried setting “cropping planes” to the VtkVolumeMapper?
