I have a statefile loading in some vtkhdf files and it works well but it gives this cryptic error:
It did not use to do so. Any ideas?
When I load in the files without statefile all looks good.

Sorry to not see your thread before… Indeed the error message is not really useful, it happens when we encounter a polydata or an unstructured grid which doesn’t follow the current spec. So you might have an error in your dataset itself, could you please share you data?
