OSPRay 2.0 (https://www.ospray.org) is available since a few weeks.
Do you know if it will supported in VTK 9.0? Or a time frame?

The upgrade is scheduled to be completed by June. So not 9.0 but definitely 9.1. See https://gitlab.kitware.com/vtk/vtk/-/merge_requests/6508 if you would like to try the work in progress now.
